Flamingo Marine ROVE 245 ServingShields Pontoon Boat

Flamingo Marine Introduces ServingShields

The World’s First Convertible Pontoon Windscreen and Serving Area

Grafton, WI — October 20, 2025 — Flamingo Marine, a pioneer in modern pontoon boat innovation, is proud to unveil ServingShields (patent pending) — an exclusive Flamingo Marine feature and the first of its kind in the boating industry.

ServingShields are dual-purpose tempered glass panels that transform seamlessly from sleek wind protection while underway to spacious serving tables when at rest. This breakthrough design delivers the kind of functionality, comfort, and social connection that no other pontoon boat on the planet offers.

A Flamingo Marine Exclusive
As the only pontoon boat manufacturer in the world offering this patent-pending technology, Flamingo Marine continues to redefine versatility on the water. ServingShields bring together two critical functions — a serving surface and a windscreen — in one beautifully engineered, in-house manufactured system.

When cruising, the tempered glass panels block and redirect wind and weather, creating a calm, comfortable environment for the captain and co-captain while maintaining clear visibility and a modern aesthetic. At anchor, the same panels fold down into durable flat serving tables, providing convenient space for food, drinks, and snacks — no clutter, no add-ons, no compromises.

Connecting the Captain to the Conversation.
One of the core benefits of ServingShields (patent pending) is the social connection it restores to the boating experience. Traditional one-use windshields isolate the captain and co-captain behind bulky barriers. Flamingo’s design solves that problem — keeping the captain part of the conversation with those relaxing in the bow.

By removing physical and social separation, ServingShields make evening cruises more engaging and inclusive — a true hallmark of Flamingo Marine’s design philosophy: boating should move with you.

A Perfect Complement to Flamingo’s GeminiTable System
ServingShields work in harmony with Flamingo’s GeminiTable (patent pending) system, expanding usable space throughout the boat. While adults enjoy cocktails or conversation in the bow, the kids can use the rear serving areas for snacks, games, or drinks after swimming — keeping everyone comfortable and connected in their own space.

Elegant, Durable, and Designed for Real Life Crafted from marine-grade tempered glass and precision-engineered hardware, ServingShields are as sturdy as they are stylish. They maintain their crystal clarity and strength even under harsh marine conditions, offering years of performance with virtually no maintenance.

A New Way to Experience the Water
“The ServingShields embody what Flamingo Marine is all about — innovation with purpose,” said Robbie Massengill, Director of Recreational Marine at Flamingo Marine. “We didn’t just want to create another windscreen; we wanted to make it work for boaters — giving them more space, more comfort, and more connection.”

Available Exclusively on Flamingo Marine Pontoons
ServingShields (patent pending) will debut as a standard feature on the all-new Flamingo ROVE, launching October 20, 2025, with pre-orders available at Flamingo-Marine.com.
Flamingo Marine will connect all new customers with an authorized dealer in their region.

What can you expect from Flamingo Marine Boats?

Five exclusive innovations that set Flamingo apart in the pontoon boat world:

  1. GeminiTable – Dual folding tables that adapt and hide away
  2. ServingShields – Convertible windshields that double as counters
  3. MegaLounge – A reconfigurable lounge for sun or socializing
  4. Wings – Folding sides that expand your deck by 50%
  5.  FlexStorage – Smart storage for tubes, toys, and gear

The Gemini Table system is unique for a couple reasons:

  1.  Integrated into the front bow, outboard seat back pocket, and does not take up storage space
  2.  Storage of the tables is uniquely engineered to hideaway
  3.  The tables can be used together, separately and have a walk way between to not block the path to the front
  4.  Industry first and only modular table available on a pontoon boat that allows the customer to set it use as they want

ServingShields play two roles.

  1. They are a tempered glass serving table for food, snacks and drinks. Allow for convenient flat service space that no other boat in the world does.
  2. They are a windscreen when underway… effectively blocking and redirecting wind while driving

The MegaLounge is an industry first movable rear furniture system that can be configured to your need. Whether it’s a sunpad for catching rays or 2 stern couches along the fence to accommodate your friends, the MegaLounge furniture system works for you.

Flamingo Wings are sides of the deck fence that are engineered to fold out, increasing the deck space & access to the water, and improving the boating experience. Designed for use while stationary, the wings provide substantial more usable deck space and can carry up to 1200 lbs per side when lowered. The spring assisted lift and lowering allows for easy, lightweight deployment and retraction.

FlexStorage is an outcome of multiple Flamingo 5 features used together. Storage is designed into the MegaLounge, created under the ServingShields and engineered into the center pontoon of the boat. The movement of the MegaLounge also enables tubes, large toys and waterpads to be stored behind the seat and pressed against the side of the boat. The benefit of this is that the occupants of the boat are not stepping over or on the toys during trips to and from the sandbar.

All five Flamingo features come standard — world-first innovations, included in the base price of every Flamingo ROVE pontoon boat.
