Eric Davis
Eric Davis is Co-CEO and a member of the Board at Flamingo, where he leads everything from technology and manufacturing to brand strategy, business development, and supply chain. He brings a hands-on, inventive mindset to every corner of the company; always pushing for better ideas, better products, and better experiences.
Before launching Flamingo, Eric co-founded Seven Marine and served as Vice President, helping to redefine performance in the outboard engine space. He also ran Davis Engineering, an innovation consultancy that gave him a front-row seat to real-world problem solving across the marine industry.
Eric is a prolific inventor, with more than 75 U.S. and international patents to his name. He earned his first outboard motor patent at just 13 years old, and he’s been building and rethinking how things work ever since.
Though he left engineering school early to pursue entrepreneurship, he never stopped learning, experimenting, or improving. Whether it’s re-imagining a pontoon hull, designing for real user needs, or streamlining manufacturing, Eric brings a customer-first, out-of-the-box approach to everything he touches.
On weekends, you'll usually find him cheering on his kids at a ski tournament, gymnastics meet, or hockey game; still full throttle, just in the stands.

Brian Davis
Brian Davis is Co-CEO and a member of the Board of Directors at Flamingo Marine, where he leads commercial strategy, business development, investor relations, and execution. With a passion for bringing big ideas to life and building lasting partnerships, Brian plays a key role in shaping Flamingo’s business model and growth trajectory.
Before launching Flamingo, Brian was a co-founder, Vice President, and Board Member at Seven Marine, where he helped lead the company from startup to successful acquisition. At Seven, he managed everything from operations and sales to customer support and capital strategy, overseeing both investor engagement and the ultimate sale of the company.
Earlier in his career, Brian worked in strategic software sales and business development at Parametric Technology Corporation, where he gained valuable experience in complex solution selling and global account management.
He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida but has spent his career at the intersection of engineering, entrepreneurship, and business strategy.
Outside the office, Brian races a vintage Elva Courier, coaches youth hockey, and enjoys time on the water with family and friends.

Trent Warnke
Trent Warnke is the Chief Strategy Officer at Flamingo Marine, where he leads fundraising, business strategy, and scalable growth initiatives. With deep roots in electric mobility and a proven track record of building high-growth ventures, Trent brings a unique blend of financial strategy and product-driven insight to the Flamingo leadership team.
Before joining Flamingo in 2023, Trent spent five years at Rivian Automotive. There, he played a key role in securing several billion dollars in capital and went on to build and lead Rivian’s Energy and Charging business units. Prior to Rivian, he worked in PwC’s automotive advisory practice, helping global manufacturers and suppliers navigate M&A and accelerate entry into the fast-growing electromobility space.
Earlier in his career, Trent led e-Mobility efforts for Porsche in North America and was the lead development and validation engineer for General Motors’ groundbreaking Chevrolet Volt.
Trent holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University, a Master’s in Automotive Mechatronics from Hochschule Esslingen in Germany, and an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
A lifelong automotive enthusiast and passionate boater, Trent spends weekends on the water with his wife and three children, testing his theories on what makes a truly great boating experience.

Keith Bottner
Keith Bottner is Flamingo Marine’s Chief Software Officer, leading all proprietary software development across the company’s product ecosystem. From user interface to system architecture, Keith ensures that Flamingo’s digital experience is as seamless, scalable, and innovative as its boats.
Before joining Flamingo, Keith spent 13 years at Google, where he played a key leadership role in developing and scaling software teams across mobile, desktop, artificial intelligence, and analytics. His work helped drive products used by more than 1.5 billion users, always with a focus on performance, usability, and long-term scalability.
Prior to Google, Keith was part of QuickOffice, a pioneering mobile software startup. There, he helped design and develop core technology that was ultimately acquired by Google—bringing his vision and engineering skill into one of the world’s leading tech companies.
Keith holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Southern Methodist University and brings a unique blend of startup scrappiness and enterprise-scale thinking to Flamingo’s product innovation team.

Rick Davis
Rick is a member of Flamingo Marine’s Board of Directors and serves as the company’s Technical Principal, where he leads the development of Flamingo’s advanced propulsion platform. With more than five decades of experience in marine engineering, Rick brings deep expertise, visionary leadership, and a legacy of innovation to the Flamingo team.
Prior to Flamingo, Rick founded Seven Marine, where he helped redefine high-performance outboard technology. Before that, he served as Chief Technology Officer and Vice President at Mercury Marine, one of the most respected names in global marine propulsion. His groundbreaking contributions to the field earned him the prestigious Kiekhaefer Inventor Award, one of the highest honors in marine innovation.
Rick’s career has been marked by a relentless pursuit of new ideas, new performance standards, and new possibilities for what marine engineering can be. His work has contributed to numerous “industry firsts,” and his passion for the water continues to drive his thinking today.
Outside the lab or shop, Rick enjoys racing, scuba diving, and restoring vintage cars. Most of all, he loves spending time with his wife, three children, and twelve grandchildren; many of whom share his love of boats and adventure.

Nick Blair
Nick Blair is Flamingo Marine’s Vice President of Product Design, leading the creative vision behind the entire Flamingo product family. With a background that spans marine, consumer electronics, and architecture, Nick brings deep expertise in crafting meaningful, high-impact user experiences—both on the water and beyond.
Before joining Flamingo, Nick co-built the Brunswick Boat Design Center, directed product development at Koss, and led projects at Brooks Stevens Design. He’s a seasoned consultant, having worked with global brands like Meta, Herman Miller, Motorola, Bosch, Remington, and Wilson to deliver world-class products and services.
At Seven Marine, Nick helped define the visual and physical DNA of its iconic outboard engines—ensuring they stood out both on the dock and at full throttle. At Flamingo, he plays a central role in turning ideas into products that emotionally connect with customers. Working across cross-functional teams, Nick ensures every design detail enhances beauty and usability.
Driven by a belief that good design should inspire and elevate, Nick’s mission is to uncover overlooked opportunities and transform them into joyful, functional innovations that redefine the user experience.

Tina Hollenberger is the Director of Accounting at Flamingo Marine, bringing over 25 years of financial leadership across startup, growth-stage, and established companies. Before joining Flamingo, she began her career in public accounting and later served as Accounting Manager at Seven Marine, where she led core finance and reporting functions across departments.
At Flamingo, Tina oversees financial reporting, human resources, and compliance; ensuring the company's operational discipline supports its long-term vision. She plays a key role in guiding sustainable growth and aligning financial operations with strategic business goals.

Robbie Massengill
Robbie is Flamingo Marine’s Director of Recreational Marine, bringing over 20 years of marine industry expertise across engineering, operations, sales, and customer experience. Before joining Flamingo in 2022, he held leadership roles at top-tier marine brands including Yellowfin Yachts (Director of Offshore Operations), Seven Marine (Strategic Account Manager), and Scout Boats (Director of Engineering & Quality Assurance).
Robbie’s deep and versatile background gives him a unique ability to bridge product development with real-world customer needs. From managing engineering teams to driving strategic sales, he understands every layer of the marine business and brings with him an extensive network throughout the industry’s supply and distribution channels.
His connection to the water runs even deeper. Robbie grew up boating, fishing, and surfing, and landed his first job at a marina while still in school. Early in his career, he managed multiple marina operations, building a hands-on foundation that continues to shape his leadership style.
Today, Robbie lives on the Florida coast with his wife, Jo-Lee, where they’re raising their children on the water. Whether it's boating, wakeboarding, foiling, or fishing, time spent together on the water remains at the heart of everything they do.

Maik van Zoggel

Maik van Zoggel
Maik is Flamingo Marine’s Director of Brand and Corporate Development, responsible for shaping the company’s global brand framework and go-to-market strategy. With a strong foundation in both engineering and business, Maik blends technical credibility with strategic marketing leadership to help position Flamingo as a next-generation force in recreational marine.
Before joining Flamingo in January 2023, Maik worked at Volvo Penta in several global roles, including business development and strategy for emerging technologies and integration, as well as commercial marine market development. Prior to that, he helped lead international sales and business development at Seven Marine, where he played a key role in scaling the brand before its acquisition by Volvo Penta in 2017.
Earlier in his career, Maik founded and ran YachtsXL, a marine-focused business he successfully operated for seven years. He remains active in several industry working groups and associations focused on marine innovation and sustainability.
Maik earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Architecture for Yachts and Small Crafts from InHolland University in Delft, the Netherlands. He also holds a certification in Sustainability in Practice from the Centre for Sustainability & Excellence.
He and his wife Bianca enjoy spending time on the water together, sharing a love for boating.

Stuart Halley

Stuart Halley
Stuart Halley is Flamingo Marine’s Program Principal. With more than three decades of experience in product development in marine and aerospace, Stuart brings deep leadership, engineering insight, and a legacy of innovation to the Flamingo team.
Stuart began his marine career at Mercury Marine in 1993, originally hired by Rick Davis; now Flamingo’s Technical Principal. Over the next 30 years, he helped shape the company’s most successful propulsion platforms and led numerous clean-sheet programs, including the 75–115hp, 150hp, V6/V8, 450R, and 500R outboards. He led initial product development of the V12 program before stepping into the role of General Manager of Mercury Racing in 2018, where he oversaw year-over-year revenue growth until his retirement in 2023.
As Director of Product Planning and Program Management (2011–2018), Stuart helped establish Mercury’s now-standard product development process, setting the foundation for the brand’s current portfolio success.
Before joining the marine industry, Stuart worked as an aerospace engineer at General Dynamics and Lockheed in Fort Worth, Texas, where he contributed to the F-16, F-22, and X-30 National Aero-Space Plane programs. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Iowa State University.
At Flamingo, Stuart is reuniting with longtime collaborators Rick, Eric, and Brian Davis, bringing decades of mutual respect and shared ambition to a new kind of premium marine experience.
