Flamingo Marine is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

Flamingo Marine is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level A.

Commitment to Progress

We recognize that Level A is the minimum baseline for accessibility. Flamingo Marine is currently undergoing a comprehensive accessibility audit and remediation process. We are formally committed to achieving WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance within the 2026 calendar year.

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility, there may be some limitations. We are actively working to resolve the following:

  • Interactive 3D Components: Our 3D boat models and viewer may not yet be fully navigable via keyboard or screen reader.
  • Color Contrast: Some legacy design elements may currently fall below the 4.5:1 contrast ratio required for Level AA.
  • Video Captions: We are auditing our cinematic video content to ensure all instructional or informational audio has accurate closed captioning.

Assessment Approach

Flamingo Marine assesses the accessibility of its website through self-evaluation and the use of industry-standard automated scanning tools.
